Big kid at heart.....
It's FFFriday peeps! whoop whoop :)
Today has been a funny day with one of my bezzies Emma Son; she really is a fab girl and makes work so much fun; we like to make work fun so we try out different accents when speaking to the drivers on the intercom (our Southern Belle accent is particularly my fave), serenade each other and the rest of the office with our 'amazing' singing voices - seriously, just think strangled cats.. we are so going to get on X-Factor next year haha :)
Was feeling a little tired today as Pickle decided to get into our bed last night, then insisted on having a full conversation with Daddy saying that it was too dark and she couldn't see Mummy! At this point I'm thinking, the pair of you, please shut up and go to sleep!
The Met Office reported that the snow would start around 3pm, and at around 3pm the snow did come, and continues to come! I don't know what it is about snow that makes a grown adult act like they are 10 years old again... but the mood in the office was very comical, with ladies and gents jumping around, talking about sledging and making snow-angels. The car park at the end of shift turned into a battle zone with snowballs flying everywhere, Chuckles diving for cover and Magical TJ running across the concrete like a whippet!
Decided I wasn't going to let a little snow flurry stop my miles, so went out tonight walking my old paper route.. I remember back in 1996 delivering the papers one Saturday morning in similar weather conditions.. normally it would take about an hour or so to do the round, on this occasion it took me 4 hours to complete, but everyone still got their paper :)
It was cold, wet but I have to say it was one of the best times I have been out walking; absolutely loved it, snow crunching under the feet, wind blowing, tunes on, it was very therapeutic indeed :)
So 3.12 snowy miles done this eve.. I really am loving this walking malarky ;)
Got the sledges out ready for a day of snowy fun with the kids tomorrow; enjoy it peeps, stay warm and have fun.
Dani xx
